En 1989, Tim Berners-Lee a révolutionné la planète. Et comme des vacances à la mer, je garde un souvenir ému de mes premiers pas sur la Toile.

Jérémie Pichon, un Pape à Genève


Frenchman Jérémie Pichon and his family live for the « Zero waste » philosophy. With his wife Bénédicte they wrote the best-selling book « Zero waste family ». On Saturday, December 8, the French pope of the Zero Waste philosophy will give a lecture in Geneva. He responded positively to the invitation of the Zero Waste Switzerland association.

La fin selon Zep, au son des Doors


Zep is Genevan artist Philippe Chappuis’ name. It is a tribute to his favourite rock band, Led Zeppelin. Famous for his 8-year old character « Titeuf », Zep also likes to draw grown-up topics. Recently, he published « The End » (éditions Rue de Sèvres), a story about some kind of ecological apocalypse !

Cartooniste de presse turc récompensé


On May 3rd 2018, Turkish cartoonist Musa Kart won the 2018 International Press Cartoon Prize, awarded every two years by the the Swiss Foundation Cartooning for Peace and the City of Geneva. You can see a selection of his drawings as well as the work of 24 other press cartoonists until June 3rd 2018, on Quai Wilson, right bank.

La Patrouille des glaciers, croquée par Derib


An Italian trio in the men’s race and a Franco-Swiss trio in the women’s race won the mythical La Patrouille des glaciers race from April 17 to 21, 2018. The Swiss illustrator Derib has published a comic strip on this subject, which he will present at the Geneva Book Fair until 29 April at Palexpo.

La Torche Genève, app satirique de proximité


Cartoons about politics and life in Canton de Jura sent through a mobile phone app, this is what La Torche 2.0 project is about. Genevan people could also get three cartoons a week if la Torche Genève raises the attention of 500 of them. A contest is currently running… The media will be independent and free for a couple of weeks and then only 60 francs a year.

Genevan author Joël Dicker was in town to sign his new book : The disappearing of Stephanie Mailer. His previous novel The truth about the Harry Quebert affair was a massive bookshop success. 2018 numbers show it could be the same this year with Stephanie Mailer.
